For a media and telecomunication company, Adecco Information Technology is looking for a
Senior Java Developer/architect with 4-8 years of experience.
This person is proficient in Java programming and has experience designing and developing consumer facing scalable web application. He/she must be able to be quick in analysis and problem solving oriented, thinking in abstract solution to be fit in several concrete environments. He/she must be passionate about web and mobile technology and take care about quality of the artifacts produced. The candidate must be able to play as a part of a team.
Required Skills:
• Strong team player with English written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Object Oriented Analysis and Design using Java, in particular Java 5 and later version
• Experience with Java server side programming, in particular servlet and other JEE technologies.
• Experience with Spring framework
• Experience with at least one ORM (Hibernate, Ibatis, JPA)
• Experience with Apache Web Server and Apache Tomcat
• Experience with portlet technologies and standards - Vignette portal, Liferay or other PMS solutions.
• Understanding of the application development and deployment life cycle and methodologies.
• Understanding of UML
• Understanding or Remote Procedure Call applied to Java environment
• Understanding of SOA and experience in some web service oriented framework
• Strong HTML knowledge
• Familiar with JSON, Javascript, Ajax concept.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and in particular MySQL database server
• Eclipse and CVS/SVN
