Aiming to strengthen our Oil & Gas Department for an important project based in Lombardia, Italy, we are recruiting a
JR. PROJECT ENGINEER – OIL & GAS
Job location: Lombardia, Bergamo area
Role Overview:
The selected resource - through an intense onboarding process aimed to develop appropriate know-how about Customer products and working methodologies - will support the engineering development for assigned projects related to GTs, ST/GT Turbo Compressors and Reciprocating Compressors, in connection with Project Engineers of the other disciplines involved, with Customers, Project Management and Supply Chain teams and with equipment vendors.
Tasks:
Starting from project customer specifications, and complying to internal best practices, the selected resource will support the preparation of all the project technical documentation issued for project execution:
- Support P&ID drawings;
- Support equipment performance calculations, definition of equipment, vessels, separators, heat exchangers, electrical motors, pumps, etc;
- Support preparation of Contractual Technical documentations for final Customers as well as per Procurement;
- Support manufacturing phases.
Specialized Knowledge / Skills:
- BSc / MSc Mechanical, Energy or Chemical Engineering;
- At least 1 year of professional experience in a similar role within O&G, Chemical or similar industries;
- Good knowledge of O&G plants and related equipment (compressors, pumps, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, electrical motors etc) and operability;
- Knowledge of detailed design engineering and applicable codes (API, ASME, PED, AISC, IBC);
- basic knowledge of CAD systems and Project Management tools/practices;
- Microsoft Office advanced user;
- Good command of English language (i. e. B2);
- Commitment, precision, flexibility, reliability;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Excellent team-work attitude;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
